about

As we were starting practice in AJ's room/basement, there was a knock at the door. We opened it, and it was a homeless guy, holding a 40, and offered to smoke his joint with us if he could watch us practice.

Naturally, we accepted. This is is what he told us. I just had to make a song out of it..

lyrics

I'm a piece of shit, my wife kicked me outta home
I wander these streets, but I'm not alone
40 in my hand and joint in my mouth
Tried to live sober, that's not what I'm about
So here I go again, wandering this lonely town
Beg for money, but wait, whats that sound?

Hardcore music coming from that house
Guys are acting nice, they invite me in
They welcome me in, nobody treats me like their friend

We laugh, I cry nobody's ever been so nice
They get freaked out I realize and apologize
They don't know what it's like to live a life like this
Where my whole life I'm treated less than shit
And since day one, I've dreamt about being dead

I got so much to say, I wanna write a song
But I don't wanna impose that would be wrong
I don't wanna piss them off, they're my only friends
I hope they don't forget what my name is

credits

from Fast Eddy (demo), released April 15, 2013
Fast Eddy deserves all the credit. He inspired it. If you read all of our lyrics so far, thank you. Keep in mind, this is an older demo. We have new songs and are working on a full length. Please look out for it in the future. I hope you enjoyed this off-time, poorly written excuse of a demo as much as we enjoyed making it.
